Drop-In Art-Making

Sundays, Aug 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 1-3pm

Every Sunday and select school holidays from 1-3pm, families can experience a new adventure in art-making free with admission to The Contemporary Jewish Museum. As always, the hands-on fun inspires children to learn more about the exhibitions on display in the galleries, the building's architecture, or holidays and traditions while experimenting with materials and art techniques.

Sundays, August 3 & 10, 2014: Printmaking and Graphic Design
Inspired by the mid-century modern graphic designs in the exhibition Designing Home: Jews and Midcentury Modernism, create your own book, album cover, or poster using family-friendly printmaking techniques.

Sundays, August 17, 24 & 31, 2014: Young Architects Workshop
Inspired by the mid-century modern architecture in the exhibition Designing Home: Jews and Midcentury Modernism, create your own unique architectural model using a variety of art materials.

Presented in conjunction with the city-wide festival, Architecture in the City.

FREE with regular admission as follows: Members and youth 18 and under, Free; General Admission, $12; Students with a valid ID and Seniors, $10.
