Jan 4, 11, 18, 19, 25, 1pm to 3pm

Every Sunday and select school holidays from 1-3pm, families can experience a new adventure in art-making free with admission to The Contemporary Jewish Museum. As always, the hands-on fun inspires children to learn more about the exhibitions on display in the galleries, the building's architecture, or holidays and traditions while experimenting with materials and art techniques.

Sundays, January 4, 18 & 25: Creative Clay Creatures
Sculpt your creatures, real or imagined, out of clay, wire, sticks, and more.

Sunday, January 11: Artist's Studio with Ascha Drake
Join artist Ascha Drake to work with materials that she has on hand in her studio: tape, acrylic, gouache, paper, beeswax, gesso, and charcoal. Layer, incise, conceal, collage, embed, and excavate. Participants will be encouraged to create postcards to mail out on an adventure around the world.

Monday, January 19: Dreams of Freedom Poster Workshop
In honor of Martin Luther King Jr., create posters and prints inspired by quotes from Martin Luther King Jr. and other inspirational leaders of the Civil Rights Movement.

FREE with regular admission as follows: general admission, $12; students with a valid ID and seniors, $10; Members and youth 18 and under, free.
