Israel, Its History, the Present, Our Relationship in the Future

A 12-week Seminar with Rabbi Dennis Eisner and the iEngage Project. The seminar will begin with a brief history of Israel, followed by a 9-week video lecture series led by a team of internationally renowned scholars in the fields of Jewish studies, Middle East politics, and history presented by The Engaging Israel Project at the Shalom hartman Institute based in Jerusalem.

Rabbi Eisner currently serves on the Israel & Global Committee of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties, the board of the Ronald C. Wornick Jewish Day School, the National Council of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), and the Northern California Board of AIPAC. Rabbi Eisner was ordained at HUC-JIR/New York and holds a Master of Arts degree in Hebrew Letters and a Master of Arts in Jewish Communal Service.
