A San Francisco Celebration of JEWISH HERITAGE MONTH

Join us at San Francisco City Hall on May 20th at 6:00pm for the city's first-ever celebration of Jewish Heritage Month! The San Francisco Jewish community has made countless contributions to the city's cultural heritage, civic fortitude and economic growth, and we are looking forward to an exhilarating program commemorating these deep historical ties. There is no charge for this event, but registration is required.

Speakers will include San Francisco Mayor Edwin M. Lee, Supervisor Scott Wiener and representatives of the Jewish Community Relations Council and Jewish Community Federation and Endowment Fund, as well as San Francisco Youth Commissioner Sophie Edelhart (a senior at the Jewish Community High School of the Bay) and other members of the Jewish community.

San Francisco State University Professor Marc Dollinger will give a brief history of the extensive engagement that Jews have had in San Francisco's illustrious history.
