Passover in the Desert 2016

This event runs on a lot of love, passion and volunteer hours. Your participation truly makes it a collaborative community effort.

We will also be purchasing food for the communal seder meals on Friday and Saturday nights, renting basic amenities (such as porta potties), and leasing a truck to get it all there.

Your registration payment will be used to purchase a generator, lighting system, and for the programming content, including: a Russian seder (Friday), a seder for the kid in everyone (Saturday), yoga session, klezmer salsa lesson, shadow theater for kids, hike and wilderness education, children’s Passover story time, guest DJ appearances, a bonfire with guitars and signing, Sunday communal breakfast, and send-off. To help facilitate a Passover experience, please do not bring chamets (leavened bread), beer, pork or shellfish products into the communal kitchen and dining areas.

If you would like to help with programming, have an idea for a workshop, or just want to tell us your thoughts, please do! This is a co-creative event; your creativity, ideas and participation are what makes it work.
