All new donations will be matched by the Jewish Federations of North America 

As the recognized leader in the Bay Area on Jewish security and a go-to resource for surrounding Jewish communities, the Federation’s Community Security Program trains Jewish organizations and leaders on both threat awareness and countering active threats, while allowing them to maintain their Jewish values of openness and inclusivity. In 2022, the Federation trained over 1,450 community members and Jewish communal professionals working in nearly 50 organizations throughout the Bay Area. The Program provides site security assessments, has helped our local Jewish organizations secure $7.8 million (to date) in state and federal funding for physical security upgrades, and coordinates and assists organizations and law enforcement with incident response.  Our holistic approach to community security also includes advocacy efforts combatting antisemitism and advancing community relations.  

With your support, we can expand our scope to reach all Jewish organizations from Mendocino to Carmel and from San Francisco to Tahoe.  And thanks to a matching grant* from the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), your gift will go even further.

* Gifts eligible for the match include new donations to the Federation or donations above and beyond an annual campaign commitment. For every $2 an individual contributes, the Federation will receive $1 from JFNA.
