The Fund will support a lecture series on computer science each year at Mexican universities.
A native of Monterrey, Mexico, Hector Garcia-Molina came to the United States in 1979 to study electrical engineering and computer science at Stanford University and joined the Stanford faculty in 1992. Over his 40-year academic career, Hector Garcia-Molina was an important mentor and inspiration to many students.
