Kohn Summer InternshipKohn Summer Internship
Jewish college students who have completed at least one year of school are invited to apply for the Kohn Summer Internship Program. Interns are placed at Bay Area Jewish nonprofits for eight weeks. This is a paid internship program with free professional development seminars. Applicants who identify as Jews of color and/or queer are encouraged to apply. Federation Scholarships for College & Grad StudentsFederation Scholarships for College & Grad School
The Federation provides scholarships for students to attend undergraduate or graduate programs at accredited, nonprofit colleges or universities. Scholarships are granted based on both merit and financial need. Applications open January 15 - March 30, 2018.

 



Onward IsraelOnward Israel
An 8-week immersive, resume-building experience in Israel for college students and graduates (19-27 years old) from all over the world, including internships. Independent living, and group excursions around the country. Join a Bay Area cohort (people from or now living in Northern California) for only $500 + flight (scholarships available). Tivnu: Building Justice Gap YearTivnu: Building Justice Gap Year
Spend a year in Portland with other social justice-minded, high school graduates (17-20 years old). Everyone is placed in an internship at a grassroots organization by day and shares a warm, communal home by night. Whether you spend your year teaching English, advocating for refugees’ rights, growing food with kids, building tiny houses, or cooking meals for houseless Portlanders, you’ll go home each day knowing you did work that made a difference.

 

Camp TawongaWork at Camp Tawonga
Camp Tawonga staff are a family of over 160 dedicated people, working together to create a vibrant Jewish community where children have a safe, meaningful summer in the beautiful Sierra Mountains. Live in community, in nature, and help children grow! Counselors, unit heads, activity specialists, prep cooks, maintenance and driver positions are available.
