473K: A Belonging Workshop Series — Building Belonging for Better Boards
SHARE:
The Federation’s annual 473K Belonging Experience — named for the number of people in Bay Area Jewish households — has evolved into a year-long, free, virtual workshop series on topics that matter most to organizational leaders and require new approaches to embrace everyone in our diverse communities.
473K is intended for:
- Professional and lay leadership of Jewish organizations
- Clergy
- Development professionals
- Board members
- Jewish entrepreneurs/start-ups
- People leading Jewish engagement and/or DEIB work in the Jewish world
The third workshop focuses on how a diverse, high-functioning board can be transformative for an organization and its mission, yet many boards are an underutilized resource – largely transactional, and lacking a Culture of Belonging. Explore how some boards are going beyond recruitment to build cultures that empower members to bring their full identities and strengths to advance their shared mission together.
