FED Talk Series — On the Ground in Ukraine

An exclusive luncheon and presentation of life in Ukraine today.
Over one year into the war, Jewish humanitarian efforts in Ukraine remain in full throttle. The Federation’s global partner, the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), our largest grantee, is on the ground, serving as a lifeline to the 200,000 Jews living in Ukraine, including 40,000 poor, Jewish elderly and families.
Join Inna Vdovichenko, JDC’s representative in Odessa, for an exclusive luncheon and presentation of life in Ukraine today, where she says, “life happens between sirens.” Inna has played a critical role in coordinating the distribution of hundreds of tons of humanitarian aid and life-saving supplies for JDC clients throughout the entire region. With concerning shortages of medications, food, water, and sanitary supplies, Inna and the JDC Odessa team ensure that these crucial supplies reach Jews sheltering throughout the country.
