In Good Faith: Questioning Religion and Atheism with Scott Shay

Scott Shay’s new book, In Good Faith: Questioning Religion and Atheism, looks at our most fundamental questions about faith and reason, examining atheist arguments with a modern eye, and asserting why and how faith matters today. The son of a Holocaust survivor, Shay is determined to reverse the trend that leads away from religious heritage towards atheism.

“I can't think of another book with which I disagree so strongly that has engaged me as deeply as this one.”

-Barney Frank, Former Member of the House of Representatives

As co-founder and chairman of Signature Bank of New York, Scott Shay has been covered by the New York Times, Forbes, and Fox Business. He has contributed op-eds to The Hill, Pittsburgh Post Gazette, and Asia Times and made appearances at The Economist World Summit and TedX Wall Street. He is the author of Getting Our Groove Back: How to Energize American Jewry and In Good Faith: Questioning Religion and Atheism, which was selected as a National Jewish Book Award finalist.
