RAISE THE ROOF with Habitat for Humanity!

Day of Volunteering with Habitat for Humanity in Sonoma County

When wildfires ravaged Sonoma and Napa Counties in October of 2017, the Jewish community throughout the region deployed volunteers to support our North Bay neighbors. This spring, our Jewish Communities are invited to return for a day of service, building homes with Habitat for Humanity. The staggering loss of 6,000 homes, many in fragile neighborhoods, will forever link Habitat For Humanity’s mission of affordable housing for all, to wildfire/disaster recovery. Join us for a meaningful day of tikkun olam.

Join our partners from Peninsula Jewish Community Center, Jewish Community Federation of the East Bay, and Jewish Community Center of San Francisco for one or all of these fun service dates.

Step 2. Once you submit your application electronically, you will receive an email confirmation with a Habitat link to sign up for volunteer shifts. "Thank you for creating such a fun and gratifying volunteer experience. I loved working with Habitat For Humanity and being able to spend the day with kind, generous people, This was a Sunday well spent!"

"It was an all-around satisfying way to give back to the community and connect with other Jewish members of the community. When's the next one? Loved it."
