In Sonoma County, unless you are on a college campus, we experience anti-Semitism and hate speech, mostly secondhand, through online channels. Elsewhere, our fellow Jews feel it firsthand: the anti-Semitic voicemails and swastika left at synagogues, the bombings of Jewish establishments throughout Europe and the Middle East, the rise of neo-Nazis and BDS.
Sixty-some years ago, Arab countries expelled a million Jews and much of the Jewish community was silent. Things are even worse now; even the UN Secretary-General acknowledges the New anti-Semitism.
On Sundays, come hear how the organizations devoted to keeping us safe are putting out the fires of the New anti-Semitism on campuses, in cities, and in the nations around the world.
