“Where will your children find their Heroes?”

Welcome to a new high energy youth program!

Perhaps you have asked yourself, “Do I want my children to learn something about the classic Bible stories… to recognize and be  comfortable with the Hebrew alphabet… to learn a little bit more about the holidays?” And most importantly… do you want your child(ren) to see Jewish life as something fun & exciting?

If you do, you will need to bring them! This new and exciting program teaches our kids our traditions via stories, games and activities.

Our program is on Saturday morning. Why? Because this is our holy day and there are Jewish traditions that happen in the synagogue that we want our kids to see and to be part of. Such as learning a few prayers for the opening of the ark and for the parading of the Torah... We want them to feel comfortable in the sanctuary and to know that they are part of something bigger… something that’s happening all the time all around us.

The whole family is invited to participate…parents you can stay and be part of it and also bring siblings. Why? Because it’s not just a program for the children to “do Jewish” but to be a part of their own Jewish family.

The educational piece is only one part of our recipe.  Celebrations for the holidays, family fun activities - both inside and outside of the synagogue - and community building are the other ingredients. Why? Because a vibrant community for our kids and for ourselves forges deep and lasting meaning and connections!!
