Shofar Shout-Out
Each Wednesday during Elul, hear the shofar blast and prepare for Rosh Hashanah alongside friends and community in the JCCSF atrium.
The month of Elul is a period of personal reflection. The sound of the shofar (ram’s horn) serves as a daily reminder to prepare for Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year) and reflect on positive changes we can make in our behavior and attitudes. Everyone is welcome to join this community ritual where you can listen to or even create the special shofar sounds.
Join us every Wednesday during the month of September (9/4, 9/11, 9/18 and 9/25).
