In this passionate and affecting documentary, Noah Klieger recounts his experiences during the Holocaust — from courageously smuggling Jewish children to safety in Switzerland to surviving Auschwitz with the help of some world champion boxers. Equally impressive are Klieger’s roles in organizing Exodus 1947, fighting in the 1948 Israeli War of Independence, and his coverage of the trials of Nazi criminals after World War II.

After a long and illustrious career as an Israeli sports journalist, Klieger is now in his nineties and committed to educating a new generation about the Holocaust. A silver-tongued tour guide and expert speaker, Klieger believes that there is power in remembrance. When asked how he is able to continually return to the sites of such profound atrocities, he remarks, “You cannot explain it, but you can tell it. That is what we must do now.”
