Zionism 3.0 – In Search of the Shared Dream

Zionism 3.0 is a launching pad for a year-long dialogue that will bring our community together around difficult but critical topics and questions about Jewish life.

Last year’s success made it clear that our community is seeking ways to come together to discuss, learn and debate Israeli and Jewish current affairs.

And, at this year’s conference –"Zionism 3.0: In Search of the Shared Dream"– we anticipate in excess of 750 attendees, exciting new speakers, more break-out groups to allow attendees more interaction with the speakers, and greatly increased press coverage. There are also several communities in the U.S. that have requested live streaming of the event.

The conference is more than just an exciting one-day event. We envision this as a launching pad for a year-long dialogue that will bring our community together around difficult but critical topics and questions about the two major centers of Jewish life. The important topics at the heart of this year’s conference are:

  • A family divided – two Jewish centers and how they relate to each other
  • Is there a shared future?
  • What is Zionism today? How does Zionism define American Jewry’s contemporary views of Israel? How are American Jews engaging with Israel and does it matter? How do Israelis engage with the American Jewish community?

The conference welcomes speakers: Dennis Ross, Daniel Kurtzer, Einat Wilf, Daniel Gordis, Yossi Klein Halevi, Yehuda Kurtzer, Lucy Aharish, Avi Issacharoff, Amnon Reshef, Ilan Goldenberg, David Halperin, Marc Dollinger, Aryeh Green, and other thought leaders and influencers from across the political spectrum.

See the full agenda, list of speakers, and learn more about the conference on the event's website.

Young adults interested in attending the conference are invited to use the code Z3YAD at registration for a special YAD price of $35. This price includes bus transportation to and from the event (from San Francisco), meals throughout the day, and access to the young adult cocktail party. If you would like to take advantage of the round-trip transportation, please select "yes" for the shared ride and choose San Francisco as your departure city.

Lunch box and Cocktail Party with wine and beer included with ticket
