Scholarships & Camperships

Jewish Community Federation donors recognize the high importance of education and leadership for the San Francisco Bay Area Jewish community. More than 20 funds and foundations at the Federation provide resources for a variety of academic and enrichment programs – from preschool to college, teen Israel experiences, and a variety of summer and family camps.

Preschool scholarships

The Jewish Community Federation Preschool Scholarship Fund was established to provide need-based scholarships for families to send their children to Jewish preschool programs at Jewish preschools within our service area. In recognition of the high cost of living in the Bay Area, the Federation has launched this program to make Jewish preschool more accessible to families.

For more information about the fund, contact Lisa Pavlovsky, the Federation’s Scholarship Program Manager, at Lisap@sfjcf.org.

Jewish day school scholarships

The Jewish Community Federation Day School Scholarship Fund has been established to provide need-based scholarships for students attending Jewish day schools throughout our service area. This fund bridges the financial gap between family contributions and the individual day school financial aid packages.

For more information about the fund, contact Lisa Pavlovsky, the Federation’s Scholarship Program Manager, at Lisap@sfjcf.org.

Scholarships for Camp and Israel

The Jewish Community Federation One Happy Camper grant program and the  Jewish Camp and Israel Experience Scholarship Funds support families participating in summer camp, family camp, special needs camps and teen Israel experiences.

For more information about the funds, contact Lisa Pavlovsky, the Federation’s Scholarship Program Manager, at Lisap@sfjcf.org.
