Scope & Deliverables

Reboot, incubator of Jewish arts/culture and inventive network, is building the first digital companion for a meaningful life lived Jewishly, for the roughly 1.2 million emerging adults in their 20s and 30s who navigate Jewishness principally through culture. This groundbreaking digital companion is the Re/New Digital Platform, a seamless digital-to-real life web platform that provides curated content, tools, and experiences to enrich your life. The Platform also contains the FRIDAY Mobile App, which serves up thought-provoking content on Friday afternoons to help users reflect, unplug, and connect with each other, transitioning to a more restful and mindful state of mind.

Reboot is looking for a consultant or a team of consultants with experience in business plan development, financial models, and marketing, to help us strengthen our draft business and marketing plans for these digital projects, and building our own capacity and knowledge in these areas.

We are requesting consulting/advice in three primary areas:

  1. Reviewing and providing constructive feedback on our current business plan.
  2. Reviewing and providing feedback on our FRIDAY App marketing and operational plans.
  3. Helping us explore and determine the financial models for the FRIDAY App and Re/New Digital Platform with the best ROI - with a focus on earned revenue opportunities for products and programs.

Project Results

This engagement will help us to strengthen our business and marketing knowledge, capacity and funding pitches for the FRIDAY App and Re/New Digital Platform. It will prepare us for our medium and long-term financial growth and scaling of these digital projects, helping to prepare them for success and helping us usher in a new creative chapter for Reboot.

Organization Description

Reboot, with hubs in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and New York City, affirms the value of Jewish traditions and creates new ways for people to make them their own. Inspired by Jewish ritual and embracing the arts, humor, food, philosophy, and social justice, we produce creative projects (events/exhibitions, books, films, albums, DIY activity toolkits, etc.) that spark the interest of young Jews and the larger community. Since our inception 14 years ago, 509 network members, 889 community organization partners, and hundreds of thousands of people have looked to Reboot to rekindle connections and re-imagine Jewish lives full of meaning, creativity, and joy.
