San Francisco Hillel

Scope & Deliverables

The SF Hillel is planning to host a high-end luncheon event for 30-50 people to celebrate one of our senior and very visible board members for her contributions to the Hillel as well as the broader Bay Area Jewish philanthropic community. While our staff and student interns can do much of the implementation/legwork, we need help with the high-level planning (timeline, major implementation steps, venue selection, etc.) and directing some of the implementation. We anticipate the event taking place in early 2015.

Project Results

This event is designed as both a fundraiser and a vehicle to introduce SF Hillel to a broader pool of donors in the Jewish community. Success can be measured in both immediate financial and longer-term donor relations development.

Organization Description

The mission of the San Francisco Hillel is to be a vibrant presence on multiple campuses, serving the maximum number of university-aged Jews, building and enhancing identity and community to foster lasting commitment to Jewish life and the State of Israel.

Required Skills/Experience

Event planning, preferably for higher end Jewish philanthropic fundraisers (but not necessary).
