Jewish Community Free Clinic

Scope & Deliverables

The Jewish Community Free Clinic needs to raise funds to support its free medical services to its over 2,500 adults and children who have no access to medical care, even with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.

We seek one or more event planners to give us advice on two special events (the first is on June 5th). We anticipate the second event taking place in late 2016. While our staff can do much of the implementation/legwork, we need help with the high-level planning and directing some of the implementation.

The event planner(s) would ideally advise on any or all of the following:

  1. Event planning (e.g. timeline, major implementation steps, operation, venue selection)
  2. Corporate sponsorship solicitation
  3. Promotion and messaging of the events and our story.
  4. Auction administration

Project Results

The events are designed as fundraisers and vehicles to introduce the Jewish Community Free Clinic to a broader pool of donors. Success can be measured in both immediate financial and longer-term donor engagement.

Organization Description

Drawing on Jewish traditions of Tzedakah (charity) and tikkun olam (repairing the world), the Jewish Community Free Clinic, located in Santa Rosa, offers free health care services to anyone in need, without regard to religion. We offer an atmosphere of respect, empowerment and partnership with our patients, and strive to assist them in attaining full health and well-being.
