Scope & Deliverables

Kevah's office has a lot of unused space and empty desks.  If we can rent these out to subtenants, you'll help us cultivate a dynamic co-working hub, centered around small Jewish non-profits. We are also open to subletting to secular nonprofits as well as to individuals.

The specific deliverables would be:

+ Find (or advice on how to find) 3-4 additional sub-tenants to rent individual desks for $500/mo,

 OR

+ Find (or advice on how to find) one organization interested in renting the entire middle room (8 desks) for $3000/mo

Help us refine our publicity materials and train us on how best to find new tenants, so we're more readily able to fill desks when future tenants leave.

Project Results

Helping us find new sub-tenants and fill the unused desks will increase the impact of this non-profit hub, strengthening all the organizations located here. In addition, the sub-tenants provide additional revenue to Kevah, helping offset the increased rental expenses following our recent move to a larger space.

Organization Description

Kevah, located in Berkeley, is a pluralistic Jewish organization whose mission is to empower individuals and organizations to build Jewish learning communities. We enable adults to explore the spiritual and intellectual richness of classical Jewish texts by organizing a national network of home and office-based study groups.
