Educating for Excellence

Background

Out of the 2.5 million children living in Israel, 800,000 live within poverty stricken households. These children have great potential for excellence, yet because many do not receive appropriate support and encouragement, they fail to complete their education. E4E’s cutting-edge supplemental educational programs change these children’s trajectories.

Since its start in 1999, E4E has built a network of supporters and donors that includes individuals, foundations,  businesses and the Ministry of Education in Israel. It has grown its budget to $5,000,000.

Currently, E4E’s public relations efforts and marketing (e.g. website, social media, brochures and marketing language) are directed solely to the Israeli community.

Given its now substantial track record, E4E is poised and eager to build awareness of its results and engage potential partners and supporters in the U.S.

Deliverables

The consultant would help us develop and implement a PR strategy including:

  1. Review/evaluate organization’s public relations goals as they relate to developing a U.S. audience
  2. Identify the audiences that organization should address to achieve its goals in the U.S.
  3. Identify the media outlets that organization should target to reach its audiences in the U.S.
  4. Create a press list
  5. Recommend tactics to build relationships with target media outlets in the U.S.

Project Results

With a larger base of supporters and partners, E4E will strengthen its financial stability and grow its programs and results. Specifically, E4E’s growth will mean that more children within Israel periphery will:

  1. Develop self-confidence, a positive self-image and initiative
  2. Attend institutions of higher education
  3. Become involved and active citizens
