Background
Jamestown has begun building a more robust framework for evaluation of our programs, however our Salesforce database is not currently set up to track the new metrics we have identified. Our database needs to be reconfigured to set up new relationships between data fields to better capture outcomes. In order to hire a consultant to do this work, we seek a pro bono consultant to help assess and map out the process and define the scope of work.
Scope and Deliverables
1. Review our recent evaluation framework and current Salesforce database configuration (which is about three years old).
2. Map out the process to reconfigure our Salesforce database so we can write a “scope of work” and hire a database consultant to do the work.
Project Results
This engagement will allow us to collect and analyze the impact of our programs on the lives of our youth and families, and also help us zero in on what is working and what is not.
Organization Description
For over 40 years, the Jamestown Community Center has been providing learning opportunities and safe space for low-income youth in San Francisco's Mission District. Jamestown provides low-income youth ages 4-18 with a full range of educational enrichment, tutoring, academic support, leadership, employment, sports, and guidance and prevention programs.
