Jewish American Heritage Month

In honor of the more than 355-year history of Jewish contributions to American culture, President Barack Obama made an official proclamation that May 2010 is Jewish American Heritage Month. We are proud to join with Americans all over the United States to celebrate our Jewish cultural traditions and history.  President Obama stated in his official proclamation:

Today, Jewish Americans carry on their culture's tradition of "tikkun olam" -- or "to repair the world" -- through good deeds and service.  As they honor and maintain their ancient heritage, they set a positive example for all Americans and continue to strengthen our Nation.

Thank you for contributing your tzedakah (doing justice).   Your support empowers and engages our local San Francisco Bay Area Jewish community in tikkun olam.

Help us continue to celebrate our Jewishness together by making a gift to the 2010 Annual Campaign.
