TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Minimum Contribution

- Must contribute a minimum of $10,000 to a new donor-advised fund (DAF) opened between September 15 and December 31, 2025
- New Donor-Advised Fund Agreement must be fully completed and submitted by 11:59 pm on December 31,2025.
2. Full Funding Requirement
-
- The grant credit is a $1,800 bonus which will be posted in the portal, available to use for a qualifying grant recommendation.
- The new DAF must be fully funded before the $1,800 grant credit will be posted in the DAF portal. Partial funding of the DAF (i.e., less than $10,000) does not qualify for the bonus grant.
- The new DAF must be fully funded by 11:59 pm PST on December 31, 2025.
3. New DAF Limitation

- Only newly established DAFs opened between September 15, 2025, and December 31, 2025, are eligible. Neither Federation DAF-to-DAF transfers of monies nor additional contributions to existing DAFs qualify.
- Existing DAF holders will only be eligible for this bonus grant offer if they open a new DAF for someone else (e.g., their child)
4. Grant Amount and Usage

- The bonus credit amount is fixed at $1,800.
- The entire $1,800 must be recommended to a single qualifying Jewish nonprofit organization – it cannot be split up or allocated to multiple organizations.
- Grant recommendations must be submitted via the Federation’s online Fund Portal no later than December 31, 2025, at 11:59 pm PST.
- Recommendations submitted after this deadline will not be processed under this promotion.
5. Eligible Organizations

- The bonus grant must be recommended to a qualified Jewish nonprofit organization that adheres to Federation grant guidelines.
- A qualified Jewish nonprofit is broadly defined as one whose mission and services are aligned with Jewish values and the needs of the Jewish community and is distinguished in some way from nonsectarian agencies.
- The Federation has final discretion in determining which organizations qualify for this bonus grant program.
6. Processing Timeline

- The new DAF will receive an $1,800 bonus credit within 1-2 weeks of being fully funded
- DAF holder must recommend an $1,800 grant to a qualifying Jewish nonprofit organization, using the Federation’s online Fund Portal, by December 31, 2025 at 11:59 pm PST.
- $1,800 bonus grant will be disbursed within 1-2 weeks after recommendation is submitted.
7. Non-Transferable

- The bonus credit is non-transferable and cannot be:

- Converted to cash;
- Transferred to another DAF;
- Applied to administrative fees; or
- Used for any purpose other than charitable grant recommendations to qualifying Jewish nonprofit organizations.

8. Program Modifications

- The Federation reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate this promotion at any time without prior notice.
9. Final Authority

- The Federation’s decisions regarding eligibility, qualifying organizations, and all other aspects of this promotion are final and binding.
