The Judith Chapman Memorial Women’s Leadership Award honors women who serve as role models in our community through sustained volunteer leadership, philanthropy, and values-driven engagement.
The award is selected by a committee comprised of previous awardees and community leaders.
A $2,500 grant will be awarded and designated to a nonprofit of the recipient’s choice.

Recipients of this high honor:
Demonstrate significant and sustained volunteer leadership within the Jewish community, particularly in the Bay Area.
Have a longstanding history of engagement and involvement with the Jewish Federation Bay Area.
Lead with tzedakah (caring for people in need) by modeling philanthropy, volunteer service, and values-driven leadership.
Create positive change in the broader community.
Mentor, motivate, and inspire others to engage in volunteerism, community leadership, and philanthropy.
