Our Core Grant Areas
COMBATTING ANTISEMITISM
Antisemitic incidents have surged 344% in five years (ADL), threatening our safety and belonging. Through partners like JCRC and JPAC, we’re amplifying Jewish voices and building resilience through advocacy and grassroots action.
STRENGTHENING JEWISH LIFE & IDENTITY
From preschool through retirement, we fund programs that build pride, resilience, and connection. Through scholarships for Jewish schools, camps, and Israel travel, plus support for JCCs, Hillels, Diller Teen Fellows, PJ Library, and more, we empower meaningful engagement with Jewish life.
CARING FOR PEOPLE IN NEED
Through partners like Jewish Family and Children’s Services (JFCS) and Shalom Bayit, we provide critical support for vulnerable community members — seniors, immigrants, families in crisis, and those facing housing insecurity.
PROMOTING JUSTICE & INCLUSION
Rooted in tzedek (pursuing justice), we foster inclusion for at-risk groups — people with special needs, LGBTQIA+ individuals, Jews of Color, and others — through partnerships with organizations like Keshet, Jewtina y Co., and the LUNAR Collective.
RESPONDING TO CRISES
As Northern California’s Jewish community security experts, we train organizations, advise on threats, and secure funding. When crises hit, we mobilize immediately with partners like the American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee (JDC).
