Dan Safier is the founder, President and CEO of The Prado Group, a San Francisco based real estate development and investment management firm with residential, retail and mixed-use properties across the western US. Dan’s professional passion is creating vibrant, walkable, mixed-use environments with a deep commitment to positively evolving the communities he works in. His business and real estate career spans over 35 years and his board experience includes chairing the Jim Joseph Foundation, the JCCSF, the Schultz Family Foundation, and the SFJCF’s Endowment Committee. Dan is a member of UC Berkeley’s Fisher Center Policy Advisory Board and the Berkeley Real Estate Alumni Advisory Board. He was a founding member of the Terner Center for Housing Innovation and a director at SPUR. Dan received his BA from UC Berkeley and his JD from UC Law SF.
