Hatikvah by Naftali Herz Imber

The Levine-Lent Family Foundation, a supporting foundation housed at the Federation, is supporting the distribution of the children’s book, Hatikvah, through Jewish day schools and P.J. Connectors in the Bay Area.

The book invites readers to experience the spirit of Hatikvah not only as Israel’s national anthem but as a living expression of joy, creativity, and shared history.

The Levine-Lent Family Foundation hopes the book inspires children and families to explore the themes of hope, freedom, and unity as integral parts of the Jewish and Israeli story.

The Hatikvah Book Study Guide provides creative ideas for educators to deepen engagement with the book, including suggested classroom activities and reflection questions.

We extend our deep gratitude to Devora Busheri, book editor and curator of the Am Yisrael Chai Project, for her commitment to fostering a deeper connection to hope, particularly in connection to life in Israel.
