Jewish Day Camp Scholarships

The bonding experience of day camp not only builds a long-lasting yearning for community but also creates habits of Jewish practice.

The Federation provides grants directly to Jewish organizations and camps to offer need-based scholarships to pre-school and school-aged children in the Federation’s service area to attend Jewish day camp. Families must apply directly to one of the camps listed below.

Scholarship award process

The Federation allocates block grants to each qualifying day camp. Day camps award the scholarship funds based on financial need. Applications are reviewed and awards determined by the camp’s financial aid committee. Application contents and materials and applicants’ identities are kept strictly confidential. Applicants will be notified about award decisions directly by the day camp.
