The Judith Chapman Memorial Women’s Leadership Award honors women who serve as role models in our community through sustained volunteer leadership, philanthropy, and values-driven engagement.
The award is selected by a committee comprised of previous awardees and community leaders.
A $2,500 grant will be awarded and designated to a nonprofit of the recipient’s choice.

Recipients of this high honor:
Have a longstanding history of meaningful engagement with the Jewish Federation Bay Area.
Demonstrate significant and sustained volunteer leadership within the Bay Area Jewish community.
Extend that leadership to the national Jewish community, bringing Bay Area values to a broader stage.
Lead with tzedakah, modeling sustained and generous philanthropy in the Jewish community.
Mentor, motivate, and inspire others — particularly women — to engage in Jewish communal life, leadership, and philanthropy.
- Create positive change in the broader civic community, reflecting Jewish values beyond communal boundaries.
