You must be a registered user of the Jewish Community Federation of San Francisco, the Peninsula, Marin and Sonoma Counties (the Federation) website and related community pages to post comments and other content and must agree to abide by our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP). Registered users may post comments and other content, so long as the comments and content are not illegal, obscene, threatening, defamatory, invasive of privacy, infringing of intellectual property rights, or otherwise injurious to third parties or objectionable, and do not contain hate speech, software viruses, political campaigning, commercial solicitation, chain letters, mass mailings, or any form of "spam."

The Federation has the absolute right but not the obligation to monitor and edit or remove any activity or content, for any reason. If you find content posted by third parties on the website or related pages that you feel is objectionable or violates our Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), you may notify the Federation and the content may be removed or flagged at that time. Users who post material that violates our AUP may be banned from posting content in the future. The Federation takes no responsibility and assumes no liability for any content posted by you or any third party.

When posting a comment on this site's Blog or Calendar pages, you may not use a false email address, impersonate any person or entity, or otherwise mislead as to the origin of the comments and content. Anonymous comments are not allowed. Comments and third party content posted in these sections are not the opinion of the Federation. If you do post comments, content or submit material, you represent and warrant that you own or otherwise control all of the rights to the content that you post; that the content is accurate; that use of the content you supply does not violate this policy and will not cause injury to any person or entity; and, that you will indemnify the Federation for all claims resulting from content you supply.

The Federation reserves the right to terminate this feature at any time, with or without advance notice.

Be aware that security and privacy features are still under development for the online community groups, particularly those marked as Private, and that posts to the discussion forums of all groups are currently viewable to the public. Enhanced privacy features for all groups are currently under development, including private discussion forums.

Changes in privacy and security features for the various online community groups may result in unqualified members being removed from certain groups.
