As the Ten Days of Awe draw to a close, we come to Yom Kippur, the most reflective and soul-searching day of the Jewish year, beginning with the moving Kol Nidre service.
We invite Tawongans and friends in 6th grade and older to join us for our annual Kol Nidre Service. This meaningful and musical gathering, led by the same service leaders and musicians as Erev Rosh Hashanah, offers an opportunity to pause, reflect, and connect in community as we enter Yom Kippur together.
Participants are welcome to wear white, a tradition that symbolizes renewal and introspection.
Our early observance is designed to complement other High Holiday plans, allowing participants to also attend evening Kol Nidre services at their synagogue or elsewhere.
