Catching Up With Women's Philanthropy

As the Women's Philanthropy Lion of Judah Chair, I feel so fortunate to be a part of such an incredible group of women – women who care deeply about ensuring Jewish connection and continuity. Our Annual Lion of Judah/Pomegranate Luncheon last month clearly demonstrated our shared commitment to improving life for so many in the Bay Area, in Israel and around the world. With 70 guests in attendance, we raised hundreds of thousands of dollars that will be used to care for the vulnerable, provide meaningful Jewish experiences and strengthen the future for upcoming generations.

I am grateful to our three extraordinary speakers: Jeannie Opdyke Smith, Linda Hurwitz, and Jennifer Gorovitz, as well as our own Women's Philanthropy donors who shared their personal stories. Each spoke so eloquently, defining moments that led them to take action, showcasing our impact and finding innovative ways to build community.

Your generosity, kindness, and support is so inspiring. It's amazing what we can accomplish when we join together.

Thank you for making our Luncheon such a success and I look forward to seeing you at our Spring Lion event.
