Jewish Day Camp Scholarships

The bonding experience of day camp not only builds a long-lasting yearning for community, but also creates habits of Jewish practice.

The Federation provides need-based scholarships to children attending qualified Jewish day camps (both summer and winter camp) in the Federation’s service areaThe Federation’s day camp scholarships are intended to provide “last resort” community resources above and beyond what is contributed by families and individual camps.

Scholarship guidelines

  • Families with children between the ages of 3 and 15 who live in the Federation’s service area are eligible.
  • Qualifying day camps must be located in the Federation's service area.
  • Children must be Jewish (as identified by their families).
  • Families may apply for the Federation day camp scholarships for one or more children for multiple sessions.
