$5 off TJT's latest hit show!

The Traveling Jewish Theatre (TJT)  and the Hub of JCCSF are ecstatic about the success and great reviews that their latest production, Fabrik: The Legend of M. Rabinowitz has received. Fabrik explores the real life of Moritz Rabinowitz using hand-and-rod puppets, masks and original music created and performed by New York City's Wakka Wakka Ensemble. Inspired by Nordic and Yiddish folktales, Fabrik follows Rabinowitz, a Polish Jew who immigrated to Norway at the turn of the last century in order to escape pogroms and persecution, and to build a future for himself. Pushing the boundaries of theatrical expression, this is the story of the search for home and how our choices leave an indelible impression on history.

"This . . . powerfully affecting production capitalizes on the range of the art form and takes it to impressive heights." - The New York Times

“…a must-see feat of theatricality.” - Backstage

Due to public demand the show has been extended, and will run Thursday, January 29 - Sunday, February 1, 2009 in San Francisco. The TJT has kindly offered $5 ticket discounts to all readers of the Federation's blog. Use promo code FABRIK20 when ordering.
