A call to action
Tough economic times require action. We invite you to take action by joining in supporting the power of our community with a gift to the Jewish Community Federation’s 2009 Annual Campaign. Federation has become acutely aware of the increased needs in our community. Requests for emergency financial assistance from Jewish individuals are up more than 50%; demand for career counseling has doubled; and Jewish pre-schools, day schools and youth programs are seeing unprecedented requests for aide due to financial hardship. On top of this, community services have been hit with deep public funding cuts, making our philanthropic dollars that much more critical. The following 2 minute video will give you a taste for the meaningful impact Federation makes with our gifts, locally and globally.
If you have already made a gift to the Federation’s 2009 Annual Campaign, THANK YOU. In light of our local and global community needs, consider increasing your gift. While contributions at all levels make an impact, we are looking to our community to give at least $1 a day, or $365. There are two ways to donate:
