FedFest: Snapshots of the day

Today the Federation celebrated its centennial by inviting the community to come out for a day of inspiring lectures, free concerts, plenty of schmoozing, and a few fierce rounds of ping pong.  The official event photographer will send us his photos soon, but until then, here are a few of my favorite snapshots of the day:

Members of the Jazz Band after completing their set.

The Atrium is abuzz with activity between lectures.

Jacob Cohen and his mom Roxanne work on the family time capsule.

Art educator and CJM docent Gail Newman takes a break from working on the family time capsule.

Memories etched on the leaves of the family time capsule.

Hazon’s bike-powered smoothie.

What birthday party would be complete without cake?

Incoming Federation President Nancy Grand thanks donors for their support of the Federation.

Kol Hadov, UC Berkeley's a cappella group serenades the crowd.

All of the above photos were taken by Joy Powers.
