When registering, please select two of the following workshops:

Susan Fox, M.A. - Bringing Balance and Wellness into Your Life Workshop participants will have the opportunity to tap into their desires, strengths, capabilities, and values for wellness and life balance. Participants will each identify an area of their life they'd like to improve and create a vision for bringing that into their lives. In small groups, we will go through a fun and effective coaching process to align ourselves with our visions. Working with partners, we will break down our visions into smaller, do-able steps that translate into long and short term goals. Participants will leave with a clear vision of what they want to create in their lives, why they want it, how it ties in with their strengths, values, and connection to themselves and others, and what steps they need to take to achieve the vision.

Susan Fox is a Senior Life Coach with two coaching certifications and a Master's Degree in Psychology. Susan is also a certified practitioner of hypnosis and NLP. Susan’s passion for health, fitness and personal transformation led her to yoga 10 years ago and she also teaches yoga at YogaSource in Palo Alto, Google, and at Apple. She is the Life Coach and Yoga Teacher for international business executives who attend Stanford Business School’s executive management conferences. Susan loves to combine her understanding of psychology and yoga with coaching to help people make positive, lasting changes. She is married with two teenaged children.

Wendie Bernstein Lash, M.S, Spiritual Teacher - Nourishing Your Personal Tree of Life Judaism is intimately tied into the cycle of the earth’s seasons. Participants in this workshop will have the opportunity to be inspired by the energy of the month of Shevat, which celebrates nature and is the month we celebrate the new year for trees. Just as nature is beginning to wake from dormancy, we too are ready to tap into our energy and creativity that has been resting and rejuvenating during winter. We’ll explore the kabbalistic concept of the four worlds and using guided visualization, reveal what needs to be nourished in our physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual lives. We’ll create a visual representation of our own Etz Chayim (tree of life) and have time to process and share our creations in small groups. We’ll close with a ritual of dedication to nourish a part of our tree that needs it the most. No artistic ability is necessary, just a willingness to let yourself create and have fun.

Wendie Bernstein Lash is teacher of Jewish spirituality and meditation. She creates personal connections to the spiritual side of Judaism through rituals, teachings, and practices. Her work includes classes, groups and retreats and she has published CDs of Jewish chants and guided visualizations. She trains Jewish spiritual guides in a national training program and leads a monthly service at congregation Etz Chayim in Palo Alto.
