Parenting Matters: Jewish Wisdom for Mindful Parenting

Parenting Matters is a successful, innovative discussion group designed for interfaith and unaffiliated parents raising young children (ages five years of age and younger). Parenting Matters is an 8 week discussion group geared to parents of young Jewish children who are seeking Jewish wisdom as they make daily parenting decisions. To date, we have provided over 60 parents with a unique Jewish education experience. For next year, we are looking to conduct four new discussion groups in San Rafael, Foster City and two in San Francisco. Our goal is to build upon the success of the program and to give parents a stronger sense of connection to the Jewish community as well as a chance to deepen their own Jewish path.

Parenting Matters is a program of the Jewish Community Federation's Early Childhood Education Initiative. For more information, please contact Vivien Braly and 415.499.1223 x8106 or email VivienB@sfjcf.org.
