A round of applause for Tavi Nathanson

YAD board member Tavi Nathanson just won the 'Volunteer All Star 2010 Award' from his employer Salesforce.com. Way to go Tavi! Thanks again for choosing Federation as the beneficiary of your $1,000 award and for all your hard work on behalf of the Federation. Tavi's award earned him a mention in the 'faces' section of the j. weekly. Here it is:

Tavi Nathanson of San Francisco, a board member of the Young Adult Division of the San Francisco–based Jewish Community Federation, received the Volunteer All Star 2010 Award from Salesforce.com, his employer. The award comes with a $1,000 grant to the charity of his choice — the JCF, of course. Besides the Federation, Nathanson volunteers with Congregation Emanu-El’s Young Adult Leadership Committee, the Boys and Girls Club, the San Francisco Food Bank, and Playworks
