Support Our Family in Israel
As hundreds of rockets continue to rain down on Israel and target Israelis where they live and work, the nation remains at a frightening standstill:
- Over 360 rockets have been fired into Israel since Monday, targeting heavily populated civilian areas;
- Some 80 of these rockets were fired into Israel on Wednesday;
- Dimona, which houses Israel's nuclear reactor, has been targeted three times;
- At the height of Thursday's rush hour, sirens again sounded in Tel Aviv. Here is a photo a Tel Aviv worker took while sheltering for protection, and a photo of a rocket fragment that fell after being intercepted by the Iron Dome; and,
- Hamas took credit for the Tel Aviv attack, saying it fired M75 rockets, which have a range of 46 miles.
In response, we are joining the Jewish Federations of North America in opening an emergency fund to provide emergency aid and alleviate the pain and suffering of Israelis living in harm's way. 100% of funds collected will be sent directly to our trusted partners on the ground, providing emergency support to Israeli citizens affected by the attacks. Your donation will provide care for homebound elderly and disabled adults during this time of terror, respite for tens of thousands of children fleeing rocket attacks, and crisis counseling for Israelis who are overwhelmed by anxiety and in need of relief. The full extent of all needs is not yet known.
