Ctrl + Alt + Del: Tashlique at Ocean Beach

Join Reboot and the JCCSF for a modern spin on the 600-year-old Rosh Hashanah ritual of tashlih - traditionally practiced by tossing bread into the ocean - to rid us of bad vuggum (karma) from the previous year and offer a fresh start. Join us shore side at Ocean Beach (near Fulton) for the ritual and joyful noise from shofar blowers, bag pipers and members of the Jazz Mafia and the Ministers of Sound of the Saint John Will-I-Am Coltrane African Orthodox Church. Bring stale bread and a shofar, if you have one. Enjoy our twist on Rosh Hashanah’s traditional sweets with s'mores toasted over a bonfire.
