What can we spark through imagining together? Explore the power of collaboration, storytelling and improvisation.

The possibilities are endless in this lively two-session virtual experience. In session one we’ll discover playful ways to share, nurture and develop fresh ideas. Session two progresses into true collaboration as we create mashups, practice embodied expressions, and activate our collective imaginations to co-create unique moments that are joyful and rich in a safe, supportive setting.

You don’t want to miss a moment! To get the most out of this exciting opportunity, we respectfully request that you attend both sessions on Thursday, October 14 and the following Thursday, October 21.

Evan Johnson has been sharing his passion for performance-making for as long as he can remember. Since early childhood, Evan has gathered others in the spirit of collective joy, shared reflection and creative experimentation. In 2006, he graduated from Dell’Arte International School of Physical Theatre. Evan is the writer/performer/producer of 3 full length plays and has been seen onstage in original collaborations with Bay Area choreographers. He is the Founding Director of Cosmic Elders Theatre Ensemble, a group of older adult theatre makers who wish to shatter society’s assumptions about aging.” In January 2021, Evan was appointed to a “Virtual Artist in Residency” position at Toronto’s Center for Aging and Brain Health Innovation.  Evan’s ongoing work as a teaching artist reaches young artists, older adults, and members of the LGBTQ+ community through partnerships with a variety of arts organizations.
