Each day, JDC provides humanitarian relief and strengthens communities in over 70 countries. This work helps over 71,000 people daily, rescuing Jews in danger, providing aid to vulnerable Jews, creating opportunities for all Israelis, cultivating a Jewish future, and leading the Jewish community’s response to global crises.

About FED Talks 

FED Talks is a Federation Donor Education Series of conversations with donor-advised fund holders, organizational partners and grantees, and donors on some of the most pressing issues of our time and how we can collectively impact change. Over the fall, our dialogue will focus on supporting and strengthening the global Jewish community in Ukraine, Israel, and beyond. All the educational events will take place at the Federation’s San Francisco office. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited. Registration is required.

Ariel Zwang is CEO of JDC, the leading global Jewish humanitarian organization. Since January 2021, she has since led JDC’s hundreds of professionals—operating in 70 countries—in their response to the Ukraine conflict and refugee crisis; the ongoing pandemic; a security crisis in Israel; and their work bolstering global Jewish life and leaders.
Ariel has held numerous Jewish community leadership positions, underscoring her commitment to Jewish practice, pluralism, and the diversity of Jewish life. She has been included on several “Top 50” lists of Jewish influencers and non-profit experts.
