Good Posture is Improved Balance

If you want better posture, there’s good news. Learn easy tricks in this lecture/demonstration to significantly boost your health and well-being.

Get ready to do some basic exercises to get you utilizing ways to enhance your posture. Hear about methods to improve posture that are uncomplicated. If your posture is slumped your balance is affected. Whenever you feel shaky, try straightening up and your balance will be improved immediately. Good posture translates instantly into good balance and the converse is also true. Remember when your parents told you to sit up straight at the dinner table? They were right.

Vanessa Kettler
At age 77, Vanessa is a professional dancer as well as an expert in the field of balance and fall prevention.  For over 20 years she taught exercise through Santa Rosa Junior College’s Older Adults Program. She is the creator, developer and producer of Building Better Balance, classes that teach how to prevent falls by improving balance and authors a newsletter focusing on how to age well through exercise, addressing many of the problems older individuals may encounter.
