Celebrate Israel through learning about the Dance traditions of the Mizrachi/Sephardi Jews. Study with Miriam Peretz, internationally acclaimed instructor and performing artist specializing in traditional and contemporary dances from the Silk Road, Middle East & beyond. This hour and a half dance workshop will focus on the dances of Sephardic Jews from the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia. We will focus on dances from Yemen, Morocco & Uzbekistan. Dancers and non dancers are all welcome as well as any gender! Come ready to dance! Full dinner and drinks will be provided right after the class in the conference room within the same building.
