For the past 18 months, JCRC and a statewide coalition of California Jewish community organizations have advocated for a rigorous and inclusive California Ethnic Studies Model Curriculum. At this public briefing these groups are joined by Assemblymember Jesse Gabriel, chair of the California Legislative Jewish Caucus, to discuss the latest legislative developments and how we can support ethnic studies and assure that in K-8 schools it is a positive reflection of the history and diversity of all Californians.
