Sonoma County B’hootz Information Session

Sonoma B'hootz Info Session RESCHEDULED to Monday, November 18th

With the recent impact on Sonoma County from the Kincaid fire, rolling blackouts, and mandatory evacuations we have decided to postpone the upcoming Sonoma B'hootz Info Session to Monday, November 18th 6pm-7:30pm. We will still be meeting at Congregation Ner Shalom in Cotati.

Wilderness Torah aims to awaken earth-based consciousness within Jewish community, which in light of recent events and the nature of these times feels even more pressing. Thank you for joining us on the 18th to learn more about Sonoma B'hootz and to connect with other interested families. Please bring your children, we will provide free kid programming during the info session.

And if you have the bandwidth, please share the event with your friends and networks! We are hoping to have a full cohort for our pilot season of Sonoma B'hootz. More information about B'hootz and the info session here.

With prayers for rain and gratitude for the connections that sustain us,

Daniel Schoen

Wilderness Torah Youth Programs Director

Announcing our pilot B’hootz Sonoma for K-5 starting in January 2020!

B’hootz integrates caring mentorship and nature-based exploration with Jewish spirituality, tradition, and wisdom. B’hootz is centered around a strong value of inclusivity  – we welcome families from diverse backgrounds and with varying relationships to Jewish tradition. After many years of bringing the magic, connection, and community to East Bay B’hootz we are looking forward to expanding this offering into Sonoma County.  Families participating in Sonoma B’hootz can expect the same commitment to mentoring, outdoor experiential Jewish learning and family community that we offer in the East Bay.elcome families from diverse backgrounds and with varying relationships to Jewish tradition.

The program will run for ten Sundays, from January through May 2020.
